We all agreed our shopping trip to Poland 

needed a dose of reality,

 and our proximity to a concentration camp could not be ignored. 

One famous prisoner, Nelson Mandela, once joked, 
"In my country we go to prison first and then become President."  
He will be remembered for his ability to speak love in a hateful world.

Next week I will take you along where we walked the path of thousands of prisoners.
