"The quickest way to know a woman is to go shopping with her." -- Marcelene Cox

Halfway through our second day of shopping we were pros...
and knew exactly what else was NEEDED to complete our hoard...
I mean pottery collection.

After a quick look around, a purchase or two, and a quick lunch at Aynsley...
visitor center and museum, which, of course, we had no time for.
Now the factory shop next door...yes please.

At this point late in the day...
we had one place on our list that I really wanted to see.

hands down the happiest factory we visited and also the coziest 'spot' to paint your own pottery, and enjoy...
while lounging on the comfy sofas near the custom AGA stove.
Her shop reminds me of this childhood book, so consequently, the happy feeling.

By the time we finished there...
we were pretty proud of the items we had chosen to travel back to Aberdeen to embellish our tables and serve delicious meals to our families and friends.
were placed strategically in the car for safe passage with a reasonable space left for...
oh yeah,
our luggage,
and our legs.
Hopefully, at least one meal will be spent around a table set with lovely china, or paper plates...
and your chairs filled with some of your favorite peeps.
