Watching bands from around the world give a historical perspective of the United Kingdom over the last 60 years,
is just a part of the extravanganza known as
The music and dancing is choreographed perfectly into the facade of the castle.
The colors alone...
are impressive...
but as history unfolds...
the sights complement the sounds...
of each band...
as their music fills the Castle esplanade...
and you think it is the end...
when fireworks fill the sky...
until all 1000 musicians and dancers stand
shoulder to shoulder as a hush sweeps over the stands.
In the darkness...
one spotlight glows above the Castle ramparts where...
a lone piper plays...
the notes are clear,
and hang in the night air.
Absolutely Brilliant!
As Forrest Gump would say...
